Giving thanks for Josie's life with us here - one Thanksgiving beyond her birth and death. We may have lost her, but we will never fail to acknowledge her as a little person...
Oh God Jay, I'm bawling...Josie is so beautiful, it's heartbreaking. I'm hoping that part of Josie lives on through Isobella, in her spirit, in her features. The greatest gift would be to see your firstborn in the eyes of your second daughter. I'm praying Isobella's healthy birth restores some peace to your hubby. I think we forget sometimes how much the daddies grieve for their babies too because they are typically the strong ones. Sending you hugs, love and much hope for peace in the days preceding Isobella's birth.
You know....what really speaks to me here is the tender mothering you are giving Josie...just as you would have in life. Explaining to her how precious she is, while making room for her little sister. What a gentle, loving mother you are to take the time to express your need to let Josie know that she could never be forgotten. She's a big sister....and Isobella will always have that...even if it's not a tangible thing. Love isn't tangible...it just IS. I love you Jay...for being you. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
I followed you here from MDC and I'm so glad I did. Jay, that was so beautiful. Josie is an absolutely gorgeous little girl and your words to her are so tender. I'm grateful I got to see this today. *HUGS*
